The Motor Boat Awards evaluate finalists through independent testing. In 2024 the Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser won the Sportscruisers up to 45ft category.

The judges assessed the boat's performance, family accommodation and galley arrangement following an independent test.

The result followed the model's European Powerboat of the Year win in the same season. Both results are linked on the Marex Australia awards page.
